Turkey - Netherlands Foreign Trade

The Netherlands has always been among the top trade partners of Turkey. The exports directed to the Netherlands ranked 9 th both in 2006 and 2007 in the total Turkish exports, 2007 value amounting at US$ 3.015 million. On the other hand, imports from the Netherlands ranked 18th in the total imports of Turkey in 2007 and realized as US$ 2,654 million.
The foreign trade balance with the Netherlands has improved in favor of Turkey starting from 2004 and this trend continued, including 2007, as well. In 2004, a trade surplus of US $ 234 million had been recorded and the surplus reached to US $ 395 million and US$ 361  in 2006 and 2007, respectively.
